 Thursday, May 2, 2013 – Kiwanis Luncheon Meeting

Time to be Fit - Damien Orosco, head of Iron Dog Fitness, will speak about fitness, healthy lifestyles and exercise. He is a certified personal trainer and is well respected in the business according to WSGV Journal publisher and RKC President Dave Barron. In addition to individuals Mr. Orozco is also employed as a training conditioner, preparing high school athletes for football and basketball. Location of this meeting will be Rosemead’s Doubletree Hotel.

RKC Orientation PowerPoint  – Members have asked about the RKC-specific version of

the Kiwanis International orientation PowerPoint used this past year. Due to another slated program being moved to a later date the PowerPoint will be presented for all to see – but

with a special twist for present members. 

 

The orientation will be preceded by introduction to a group of additional Kiwanis-related materials, including several donated copies of the out of print book “Men Who Wear the K” and Kiwanis songbooks. This program will be held at Rosemead’s Doubletree Hotel (888 Montebello Blvd, southeast corner of intersection with San Gabriel Blvd in Rosemead) .

after being captured in the Philippines during WW2.
