Toddler Storytime from 10:00 am – 10:30 am - Tiny Tots Storytime is a fun, interactive introduction to the storytime experience for children 12 months to 4 years old. Language development and listening skills are fostered through the use of finger plays, songs, movement activities and books specially chosen to engage this age group. There will be playtime afterwards. Parent participation is required.

Parent Child Workshop from 10:30 am – 11:30 am - Join us for a morning of fun and learning with your babies and toddlers. Talk to experts on early childhood literacy, development, and health while encouraging your child to learn through play and art. This is a five-week workshop for children ages 0 – 3 years.

Cool Kids Book Club from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm - Do you love reading? Join our Cool Kids Book Club for 3rd-5th graders, which meets the 1st Wednesday of every month. There's always a treat for those who join and a lifetime of friendships.  We will be discussing:  Back to School, My Weird School by Dan Gutman. For Children: 3rd grade - 5th grade

NAMI Front Line Presentation - First Responders Engaging the Community in Crisis Situations will be a presentation by Chief Philip Sanchez of the Pasadena Police Department. It is sponsored by the American Legion Pasadena Post and the San Gabriel Chapter of NAMI. 6:30 pm at 131 N Marengo Avenue in Pasadena

Children’s Social Media Workshop – 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm in the Alhambra High School Cafeteria, 201 S Second Street, Alhambra. The Alhambra USD and Alhambra High School OTA combine to present a special program featuring Sarah Dalton, of the California Attorney General’s office. She will be helping parents and students create a safe, responsible and secure online environment both at school and at home.

Five Suns of Mexico from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Professor Gloria Arjona of the California Institute of Technology will present a musical narrative of the history of Mexico.  This bilingual (English/Spanish) program will also provide guests with the rare opportunity to experience songs in the native Nahuatl, Tarascan and Zapotec languages!  This event is part of our Latino Cultural Series Event.
