SPECIAL RKC REPORTER/KIWANICLE BULLETIN - 9/27/2011

 

RKC Administration and Program Committee chair Scott Wick moments ago advised that our speaker for the Rosemead Kiwanis meeting September 29, 2011 will be:

            

                                   Donna Munoz of the Tournament of Roses

                                 

Here is Mrs. Munoz’s bio as supplied by the Tournament:

 

Donna Munioz will serve her 21st parade as one of 935 active members of the Pasadena

Tournament of Roses Association and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Community

Relations Committee. Donna has served on nine committees over her 20 years in the

Tournament. This included two years as an At Large Member of the Executive Committee, the

decision making body of the Tournament.

 

Donna is employed as a Management Analyst with the Los Angeles Police Department.

She is a staff writer and researcher for the Chief of Detectives and has been with the Police

Department 24 of her 30 years with City of Los Angeles.

 

Donna attended Blair High School in Pasadena where she was part of the first freshman

class and first freshman class president. She went on to graduate from Blair and attended Hawaii

Loa College in Kaneohe, Hi on a theatre scholarship. Donna is married to Chris and they have a

15 year old daughter, Ciara. Donna is very involved in Ciara's life, mostly competitive

cheerleading.

 

Donna enjoys reading, including her Kindle, books on tape and novels. She loves to

watch sports, football, golf, basketball and baseball.
